Building a solid foundation for the future in Brighton, Colorado.

It’s been a rough season for Isaac and me, but we’ve officially turned the corner and are back on solid ground. I’m putting in the work every day to build a good life for us—getting my new business off the ground and stepping up in our local community. Right now, we just need a little help to bridge the gap while I get us fully back on our feet. This list covers the everyday basics we need to keep going: clothes and learning tools for Isaac, plus regular groceries. Your support is an investment in our fresh start, and it gives us exactly the boost we need to keep pushing forward.
About a year ago, I bought an $800 2007 Mazda 6 to make sure I could get Isaac to school and get myself to work. It’s been a tough little car, but it’s currently limping along with a partially functional A/C, no working spare tire, and desperately needs a new battery and starter. While I have a stable income and zero debt to easily cover a monthly payment for a reliable Toyota hatchback, my recent relocation and bankruptcy mean banks are demanding a steep $6,000 down payment before they will work with me. Any funds raised here will go straight to our transportation needs—whether that means making the critical repairs to the Mazda, securing a temporary rental, or closing the gap on that down payment so we can stay safely on the road.
